General Information
The printers in the MVZ are networked and accessible from direct LAN connections and from the AirBears wireless network (actually, from any place with Internet connection). Currently there are 8 Laser Printers online which are distributed throughout the MVZ. You can check the status of HP printers by accessing their IP address with a web browser.

Connecting Printers To Your PC
You can manually create a TCP/IP printer connection. Alternatively you can allow the Xserver to make the connection automatically. Either way, you need a PC, an active network connection, and an Xserver account if you want the Xserver to automatically create the printer connection.
Connecting via Xserver:
Connect your computer to the Xserver (this is a one-time setup).
1) Click 'Start', click 'My Network Places', click 'Entire Network', and then double-click 'Microsoft Windows Network'.
2) Double-click the 'MVZ-XSERVER' domain.
3) Double-click 'XSERVER'.
4) You should now see MVZ printers.
5) Next, double click the printer you wish to use. Allow the Xserver to install the required drivers.
6) Your PC is now connected to the printer. Make sure to test it out.
Connecting via Manual TCP/IP Connection:
In system control panels (Start > Settings > Control Panels), select 'Printers' and then add a new printer. You want to create a local printer that does not automatically detect and install. Next create a new standard TCP/IP port. Enter the IP address of the printer you want to connect to. Install the drivers and you should be able to print once the installation is completed successfully.
